Meet Dr. Nboma Taylor
Dr. Nboma Taylor, Ed.D., M.A., is a credentialed educator, literacy interventionist, and Integrative Learning Strategist with extensive experience supporting diverse learners across K–12 and postsecondary settings. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in African-American Studies (Social Behavioral Sciences) and minor in Spanish, a Master of Arts in Pan-African Studies, a Graduate Certificate in Women and Gender Studies, and a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in English as a Second Language (ESOL). Dr. Taylor possesses advanced expertise in literacy development, reading comprehension, academic writing, language acquisition, educational motivation, and culturally responsive instruction.
Dr. Taylor has taught and mentored students in both traditional and non-traditional educational environments, including public schools, private learning settings, homeschool environments, individualized academic coaching programs, and university-level instruction. Her work specializes in helping students strengthen foundational and advanced literacy skills while developing the confidence, executive functioning, and academic strategies necessary for long-term educational success.
As an educational practitioner, Dr. Taylor integrates evidence-based literacy intervention methods with individualized learning approaches designed to address the unique strengths, challenges, motivations, and learning profiles of each student. Her areas of specialization include reading intervention, analytical writing development, vocabulary and language enrichment, study skills coaching, standardized test readiness, academic confidence building, homeschool educational support, and scholarship preparation pathways.
