For Parents

As parents ourselves, many on our team at AltEd Solutions know how challenging it is to raise children in today’s society. Some of our children seem very successful, other children are not as successful – yet! Bombarded by influences in the media, in schools, on the street, through technology, and by their friends it is amazing that our children have hope for their own futures. Yet, as parents and guardians, we remain their strongest supporters. We want the best for them. We are their hope.

Parents cannot prepare children on their own. The odds are against us. Too much money is spent to influence adolescents and many powerful influences challenge our families’ everyday. We work unbelievable hours to support our families, only to come home exhausted and face the trials, tribulations, and successes that our children experienced in their day. We prepare dinner, help with homework, provide counseling, act as intermediaries, coach, go to games and practices, and encourage our children that they can be better. We talk to teachers and administrators about school. We attend meetings and look for time to get involved. In the back of our minds lurks the hope: if there was someone I could talk to… if I could bring someone here to meet with our parent groups… if only….

At AltEd Solutions, we understand the joys, fears, frustrations, and hopes of being a parent. Our team of educators knows what you face on a daily basis. We know your children. We know your schools and organizations. We know your community, rural, suburban, and urban alike. We know, because we work there. We live there. We came together as a group because we did not find people like us who truly understood our needs. We believe parents want and hope the best for their children. We do too.

AltEd Solutions school division serves the needs of administrators, teachers, and parents who are devoted to helping children in public and private schools fulfill their potential to become contributing members of their communities. As an organization, we support three distinct groups of people, administrators, teachers and parents. The goals of these groups are the same; the methods to achieve those goals vary greatly.
